Christmas in Florida

Look at me! Wearing shorts on Christmas day. Sometimes i love it, but then again i also would love to have been able to wear my RED pea coat and a white or green scarf. But to still be festive i had on a Victorias Secret red tee, and a BIG RED bow in my hair. Of course my Old navy shorts that I Love are also a great Christmas outfit item. In Florida i never know what clothes to have out, so in the winter my closet is PACKED! It has my sweaters, and hoodies hanging next to my tank tops and tee's.

You never know if it's going to be 90 degrees or 35 degrees!  

This year Christmas was different because we no longer have my Nana around to be there in the morning. This is just one more thing we will have to do without her.

I pray every day for things to get easier and they do, but we all miss her so much.

It feels nice to blog again, i haven't had much spare time these past few months to do something i really enjoy.

Two Months.

Oh hi!

It's been TWO months since I've blogged. That's almost forever. I was hoping to come back with some "Awesome" news or something exciting to talk about or even some pictures to keep it interesting.. Those will come in later post for a little catch up. It's four months into my Senior year, my last year of High school and I don't really know how to feel about it, maybe a little Bitter/sweet. There has been Homecoming, Football season, hanging out with friends, Tears, smiles, simply making memories. I have much to tell you, but i will get it up as fast as I can.. Going to study now, If i can get off of Twitter and stop watching the Voice!

Taylor the Baker!

Hey Loves, Today my power went out for a good three hours, it was pretty bad considering there is so much humidity here in Florida. My family and i started playing Monopoly just to get our mind off of the heat that was making my hair frizz and each of us ill.

Needless to say around 3 o'clock our power was turned back on! Happy Taylor. Ha ha

I started looking around in our cabinets to see what i could get myself into and i thought
"Hmm lets find something to bake.. "

This is what I made, I'm sure you're like "Cereal Taylor, really?" Nope i actually made muffins! Cinnamon Toast Crunch Muffins to be exact.

Here's my take on them.

 

1) They were SUPER easy to make! All it took was some vegetable oil and 2 eggs.

2)They taste EXACTLY like the cereal. One small glass of milk and a muffin would make an awesome breakfast to start your day.

 

Betty Crocker also has different flavors.

 

Childhood breakfast foods are now a lot more filling.

 

Now after the muffins were baked and the day was coming to an end, i am sitting here with my little brother watching the Muppet's Movie, Oh how we love Kermit the frog!

Dear Grandma,

My very sweet Grandmother has been in the Hospital since July, she went in on a Thursday evening not sure what the exact date was but it was because she had fallen and couldn't get up. They found out she had broke her hip. Needing hip replacement surgery , while recovering from the surgery she was diagnosed with pneumonia which is a terrible version of the cold and even worse on elderly people. I prayed that she would fight off this sickness and she did and then they have found many infections start to take over her body. My heart aches as i can't even imagine the pain she feels, she hasn't even had time to recover from her hip replacement and now all of this. She is not in a medical coma, where they used medicine to put her to sleep and are hoping to fight off the infections. It has been so long since I've heard her voice and i truly miss her.

FootBall!

Friday Night Football is back in gear in my small town, and that mean loud crowds for me to cheer to!

I Love it, we're off to a rough patch we're 0-1 but that's no big deal we can catch up just like we did last year when we went to regional play offs!

I thought I'd share some pictures of my nights with you!

#2 (Left) This is a picture of the rival squads in my county.. yes we had to be friendly to each other for two days!

Blown Away!

 

Hurricane Isaac has slowly approached my small town, in Florida we've watched it for several days at it just got bigger and bigger. It is now in the Gulf Of Mexico as we speak making it's way toward Alabama, and Louisiana (Pray for them they really don't need any flooding). With the Hurricane coming our way they have cancelled school tomorrow, Hurricane season is like snow in the north! Ha ha.

So I found my Camera! Thank God!

I snapped a few pictures while i was walking my dog around in the yard before we needed to go back inside.

Between the trees you see the clouds, they are moving crazy fast right now!

My poor Great Dane, is scared of storms..He feels it coming.

Here I am, posing in my no makeup T-shirt kinda pose. This storm needs no impressing.. Even though my parents have done some serious house cleaning this weekend. Hahaha

Welcoming a guest i reckon?

 

We also are having a bunch of Mosquitoes here in Florida, I hope this storm blows them away! West Nile cases are very popular now in our area, we have been doing anything and everything to protect ourselves from it!

Two weeks down.

Senior Year.

A school year I have waited 13 years for, something i expected to be amazing!

Sadly, So far I have noticed how mistaken I was.. The pressure to fit in sinks hard when you have to try harder to be different, when the ratio changes..there are even more people doing what you want to do, but know is wrong.
I want to make memories too! I want to actually remember them though.. I feel alone sometimes sitting in class when all everyone does is say "You don't even know what we're talking about!" when you try to enter the conversation..

I'm a cheerleader, I thought we always fit in?

 I wish i were kinder, sometimes i come off extremely rude sometimes with my sense of humor and what i define as "Joking". I pray God will guide me the right way, show me who to be and how to act with people.

I feel like I forgot, or maybe the game changed?

 I just don't wanna be alone in High school.

 I want to have friends to talk to and to make weekend plans with.
