The last few weeks i've been battling an Ear infection, i can't stand being sick. Today it has had me stuck in bed all day watching movies, and of course i'm on pinterest.

A pictures worth a thousand words, but the ones you take of yourself can show so much.

Look at who you've become, look back at who you were. I'll be 18 soon and i can't wait. I'm growing up, at eight I cried I didn't wanna grow up. I was accepted to Troy University and I've had my future planned out since my freshmen year, but now? I don't even know what I want. How can you come so far, and then not know what you want?? I want to be happy. I want to write, and enjoy the things I'm doing. I want to cherish the moment i have with my family, and live life to the fullest. I want to take pictures of my self and be satisfied with who i am and the decisions I've made. I want to PRAY every day, and thank God for those in my life. I want to TRAVEL and find myself and who I'm going to be.

I want new things. I want love. I have to be willing to work for those things and I will, or at least i will try to do the best I can.

Christmas in Florida

Look at me! Wearing shorts on Christmas day. Sometimes i love it, but then again i also would love to have been able to wear my RED pea coat and a white or green scarf. But to still be festive i had on a Victorias Secret red tee, and a BIG RED bow in my hair. Of course my Old navy shorts that I Love are also a great Christmas outfit item. In Florida i never know what clothes to have out, so in the winter my closet is PACKED! It has my sweaters, and hoodies hanging next to my tank tops and tee's.

You never know if it's going to be 90 degrees or 35 degrees!  

This year Christmas was different because we no longer have my Nana around to be there in the morning. This is just one more thing we will have to do without her.

I pray every day for things to get easier and they do, but we all miss her so much.

It feels nice to blog again, i haven't had much spare time these past few months to do something i really enjoy.

Two Months.

Oh hi!

It's been TWO months since I've blogged. That's almost forever. I was hoping to come back with some "Awesome" news or something exciting to talk about or even some pictures to keep it interesting.. Those will come in later post for a little catch up. It's four months into my Senior year, my last year of High school and I don't really know how to feel about it, maybe a little Bitter/sweet. There has been Homecoming, Football season, hanging out with friends, Tears, smiles, simply making memories. I have much to tell you, but i will get it up as fast as I can.. Going to study now, If i can get off of Twitter and stop watching the Voice!

Taylor the Baker!

Hey Loves, Today my power went out for a good three hours, it was pretty bad considering there is so much humidity here in Florida. My family and i started playing Monopoly just to get our mind off of the heat that was making my hair frizz and each of us ill.

Needless to say around 3 o'clock our power was turned back on! Happy Taylor. Ha ha

I started looking around in our cabinets to see what i could get myself into and i thought
"Hmm lets find something to bake.. "

This is what I made, I'm sure you're like "Cereal Taylor, really?" Nope i actually made muffins! Cinnamon Toast Crunch Muffins to be exact.

Here's my take on them.

 

1) They were SUPER easy to make! All it took was some vegetable oil and 2 eggs.

2)They taste EXACTLY like the cereal. One small glass of milk and a muffin would make an awesome breakfast to start your day.

 

Betty Crocker also has different flavors.

 

Childhood breakfast foods are now a lot more filling.

 

Now after the muffins were baked and the day was coming to an end, i am sitting here with my little brother watching the Muppet's Movie, Oh how we love Kermit the frog!

Dear Grandma,

My very sweet Grandmother has been in the Hospital since July, she went in on a Thursday evening not sure what the exact date was but it was because she had fallen and couldn't get up. They found out she had broke her hip. Needing hip replacement surgery , while recovering from the surgery she was diagnosed with pneumonia which is a terrible version of the cold and even worse on elderly people. I prayed that she would fight off this sickness and she did and then they have found many infections start to take over her body. My heart aches as i can't even imagine the pain she feels, she hasn't even had time to recover from her hip replacement and now all of this. She is not in a medical coma, where they used medicine to put her to sleep and are hoping to fight off the infections. It has been so long since I've heard her voice and i truly miss her.

FootBall!

Friday Night Football is back in gear in my small town, and that mean loud crowds for me to cheer to!

I Love it, we're off to a rough patch we're 0-1 but that's no big deal we can catch up just like we did last year when we went to regional play offs!

Blown Away!

 

Hurricane Isaac has slowly approached my small town, in Florida we've watched it for several days at it just got bigger and bigger. It is now in the Gulf Of Mexico as we speak making it's way toward Alabama, and Louisiana (Pray for them they really don't need any flooding). With the Hurricane coming our way they have cancelled school tomorrow, Hurricane season is like snow in the north! Ha ha.

So I found my Camera! Thank God!

I snapped a few pictures while i was walking my dog around in the yard before we needed to go back inside.

Between the trees you see the clouds, they are moving crazy fast right now!

My poor Great Dane, is scared of storms..He feels it coming.

Here I am, posing in my no makeup T-shirt kinda pose. This storm needs no impressing.. Even though my parents have done some serious house cleaning this weekend. Hahaha

We also are having a bunch of Mosquitoes here in Florida, I hope this storm blows them away! West Nile cases are very popular now in our area, we have been doing anything and everything to protect ourselves from it!

Two weeks down.

Senior Year.

A school year I have waited 13 years for, something i expected to be amazing!

Sadly, So far I have noticed how mistaken I was.. The pressure to fit in sinks hard when you have to try harder to be different, when the ratio changes..there are even more people doing what you want to do, but know is wrong.
I want to make memories too! I want to actually remember them though.. I feel alone sometimes sitting in class when all everyone does is say "You don't even know what we're talking about!" when you try to enter the conversation..

I'm a cheerleader, I thought we always fit in?

 I wish i were kinder, sometimes i come off extremely rude sometimes with my sense of humor and what i define as "Joking". I pray God will guide me the right way, show me who to be and how to act with people.

I feel like I forgot, or maybe the game changed?

 I just don't wanna be alone in High school.

 I want to have friends to talk to and to make weekend plans with.

Pinterest:Must Try Hair.

With the first week of school under my belt I'm pretty confident with the way i styled my hair, making it different each day!

Anyways, I have certainly become a Pinterest freak.
First step is admitting,right? Ha ha.

So here are a few hairstyles i have been wanting to try this year, and one's i have already tried.

^^ I'm known for my side braid! It's super easy to fall back on when you have limited time to get ready after sleeping in (Like i did wed!)

I have NOT done this yet, but look how adorable it is! I really wanna try this..

We all love fishtail braids. but what about a french fish tail braid? It looks gorgeous!

I did this for open house! :) It's very simple.

This is for lazy days,I will surely be falling back on this some days.

Beautiful curls,wish mine would cooperate!

Senior days..

I wish so badly i could post more interesting stories and pictures for you all, I Promise..One day!

Okay so I have started Senior year this week and my how things are different!! The halls are insanely packed with freshmen (Possibly the biggest group I've seen) and the class rooms are all switched around. I have an amazing time talking in classes with friends. I feel like my senior schedule will be rather easy this year.

I already have homework today!(Math, My enemy)

If my phone were any better quality i would have pictures like crazy! I'm thinking about investing in an IPhone for the future.. when i have my own bills and such :)

Curly,kinda?

I was blessed/cursed with some crazy curly hair..

 If i take a shower before going to sleep and my hair is wet.. I wake up to "POOF" and this is what happens, i walk into the kitchen where my family will just stare at me..as if they have seen a ghost because my hair is like i said before crazy!

Taking showers in the morning means going almost all day with damp hair because it takes forever to dry..not only that but i can't stop touching it, making my curls flat in some parts but perfect in others.

See my dilemma?!

I took some weird web cam photos to show you how this works. Today i took my shower before leaving the house.. ^^ one springy curl.

Back In Florida!

Hello There!

Man have i been busy the past few weeks..

My Church held VBS the week before last it was tons of fun and my team won ;) Ofcourse!

It was great seeing God touch many lives of younger kids.

My Youth Pastor and his Wife also added an addition to there beautiful family Olive, a Beautiful baby girl. Before i knew it my family was off to Texas as you could read in my last post it was so much fun we went to the Houston Zoo, a few museums and i seen Dinosaurs and other cool stuff. Can't forget going to the Nasa space center of Houston ya know, "Houston we have a problem!" :p The drive there and back was so much fun, we stopped in New Orleans and i had some amazing gumbo! I will deffinantly re visit that place. This week has been all about preparing for my Senior year with reading the bible and buying school supplies. I went crazy school clothes shopping on my trip and i can't wait to share my outfits with you guys :)

I'm super nervous about senior year too, i don't know how this is going to go.

I'm in Houston right now on a Family Vacation!

It has been so much fun, and so HOT i thought Florida was hot..

This weather is insane!

I've noticed the weather back home isn't to "Sun shiney" rain has taken over with thunder and lightning! I Just am worried for my poor doggy who is outside while we're away...

I will post pictures of our trips to the ZOO, Aquarium, Two Museums, and to the Houston space center when i get back home! It has been so exciting, plus tomorrow i;m going to Forever 21 :)

Day 3, Tell about your relationship with your parents.

Well, That's easy.. My parents and i have a close relationship.

There's My Mom, Gizelle (Like the Victoria's Secret Model) -I just love her name, so unique- She's seriously my BEST FRIEND she knows EVERYTHING. She's strong for me when I am weak and she's still a Mom of course! I couldn't have asked God for a better woman to look up to. She is strong in faith, and a woman of prayer though sickness has disabled her from many things she still pulls through and gives 100% at everything she does.

Then there's my step Father Mark, who we can consider my Dad/Father since mine passed away when I was only two. Mark and my mom met in 2008, and he has been the best Male influence I could ever ask for! He gives the best advice, and is always there for me.

He's a HARD worker, I mean i don't know anyone else who puts that much into a job.. seriously.

Fears!

Alright, It's time for me to list THREE fears I have and how they became fears.

 

1. Chainsaws

I'm terrified of these awful machines, and I have the movie "Texas chain saw massacre" to thank for that....*Imagining* I was nine years old, staying with my Aunt and Cousins in Alabama, we had all decided to watch a scary movie because it was near Halloween. I was SO ready for this! They pulled out this movie, but before playing it.. of course my aunt and oldest cousin had to get into scary detail about how this movie was true! *Back to reality* Ever since that moment, when i hear a chainsaw start up.. I jump a little thinking it's the killer.

2. Broken Hearts

I'm only seventeen this i have come to realize, but i am SCARED to let people get extremely close to me. I push away the sweetest people and i don't let them in.. simply because i am scared they'll leave me broken in the end. I've learned my lesson.

3.Being a failure

I try SO hard to make sure my future is going to work out the ways it's planned. I want to be someone other people would have been proud to know. I wanna leave something here that helps people.. even if it's just something inspiring i said.I am afraid that I will leave this world without influencing anyone.
